Stipends/Benefits
Freshmen students selected to join the University Honors College may receive University Scholarship awards. These merit-based, renewable scholarship awards range from $1000 to full tuition, room and board. Additional need-based grants are available. Scholarships and grants, awarded by the University of Pittsburgh, can be applied to room and board with the combined amount not to exceed the costs of tuition, room and board. The School of Engineering will award merit-based scholarships. The amount ranges from $1000 - $4000 per year depending on the student's academic achievement in high school and SAT I or ACT results. The scholarships are renewable each year, for four years, provided that the student maintains a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
