Stipends/Benefits

The University of Louisville allocates specific funds each academic year to Air Force ROTC cadets to help aid in Room/Board and tuition costs. With this money, scholarship cadets will receive $7,000 towards Room/Board each academic year; however, each cadet, who is in good standing within the program, will receive some of these funds. Also, the University of Louisville – Det 295 offers a Living Learning Community (LLC) for students who are active in the program. This LLC provides the opportunity to live amongst like-minded and driven cadets for the duration of their time in the program. Additionally, all scholarship and contract cadets, whether they are residents of the state of Kentucky or not, will qualify to receive in-state tuition thanks to Kentucky Legislation KRS 164.2844 as of 29 June 2017. Lastly, each active cadet will be allowed early registration for their classes.

This is a public school.
