Stipends/Benefits
University of Arkansas provides room and board scholarships to a select number of four-year AFROTC scholarship recipients or to those that convert from a four-year Type 7 to a three-year Type 2. These are renewable each year under specific GPA requirements. Residents of adjacent states to Arkansas as well as Kansas attending University of Arkansas, are eligible for out-of-state tuition assistance scholarships available through the university. Out-of-state students qualify for in-state tuition if they are: Members of certain Native American tribes, residents of Bowie County, Texas, or are Active duty military members that are stationed in Arkansas or are members of the Arkansas guard or reserve may also be classified as residents
