Stipends/Benefits
The Jackrabbit Guarantee offered by South Dakota State University provides a $1000 per year renewable scholarship to all new incoming freshmen who score a 24 or higher on the ACT. For Air Force ROTC scholarship students, the Jackrabbit Guarantee covers approximately one third of room and board. Other scholarships and financial aid are also available. In addition, AFROTC courses are tuition free for all students, and all AFROTC cadets who are South Dakota residents not on Air Force scholarship receive a 50% tuition reduction for all courses taken during their junior and senior years.
