"Stipends/Benefits: Michigan Tech University will provide full room and board for up to 12 new students annually, who receive an AFROTC scholarship. Non-Michigan resident Type 7 Scholarship recipients will receive a Diversity Incentive Grant (DIG) to cover the difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition, allowing them to retain their 4-yr Type 7 Scholarship to attend Michigan Tech. Additionally, Michigan Tech offers in-state equivalency to all dependents of Active Duty military personnel, through the Military Family Education Award (MFEA).
