Stipends/Benefits
Angelo state offers the Carr AFROTC Scholarship: Up to $1500 per academic year is available to students who enroll in AFROTC. This scholarship is based off of $1 million endowment and is renewable each year; $35,000-$70,000 awarded annually. An internet-based application is available at www.angelo.edu/dept/as. The Carr Academic Scholarship is also available. This scholarship awards $1000 - $6000 per year. Minimum criteria for this scholarship are an ACT score of 25 or an SAT score of 1130. In addition, out of state tuition and fees may be waived for nonresident ROTC cadets who are enrolled in ROTC and received a competitive scholarship of $1000 or more.
