General Requirements Air Force ROTC is just like any other college course—it has its own specific admissions requirements you must meet to be considered.

Academic Standards Those who have what it takes to thrive academically are rewarded with a free education and a career as a leader in the Air Force.

Fitness Standards The Physical Fitness test (pFT) is taken every fall and spring term while a cadet is enrolled in Air Force ROTC.

Physical Requirements These requirements are necessary to maintain the proper degree of professionalism, not to mention a sharp, fit appearance in uniform.

Medical Requirements All scholarship recipients and members of the Air Force ROTC Professional Officer course (pOC) must pass a Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board (dODMERB) medical exam.
