The Air Force ROTC is not for everyone. It takes a dedicated student with good grades and a strong will. You have not only got to survive in this capacity, but you have got to thrive in it. It might be tough, but it is worth every second. Use this section to explore the various requirements and standards that will help you succeed in the Air Force ROTC.
Air Force ROTC is just like any other college course – it has its own specific admissions requirements you must to meet to be considered.
Those who have what it takes to thrive academically are rewarded with a free education and a career as a leader in the Air Force.
The Physical Fitness test (Pft) is taken every fall and spring term while a cadet is enrolled in Air Force ROTC.
These requirements are necessary to maintain the proper degree of professionalism, not to mention a sharp, fit appearance in uniform.
All scholarship recipients and members of the Air Force ROTC Professional Officer course (POc) must take and pass a Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board (DODMERb) medical exam.
