National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Summer Research Program (SRP)

Located in Chantilly, VA, the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Summer Research Program (SRP) plays a critical role in developing future officers to become the next-generation of intelligence and acquisition leaders through education, problem solving, and on-the-job training while supporting classified national priorities. For over 40 years, the NRO has built, designed, and operated the nation's reconnaissance satellites. NRO customers regularly include the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the Department of Defense (DoDDepartment of Defense.), as well as multiple unacknowledged organizations. This 5-week internship will place selected AS300Aerospace Studies. Junior-level course studying the anatomy of leadership, the need for quality and management leadership, the role of discipline in leadership situations and the variables affecting leadership. (rising senior) cadets on specific programs based upon educational background, professional experience, and the needs of the NRO unitsA physical location of an ROTC detachment.. Cadets will work as full-time employees alongside junior officers from all branches of the US Military as well as selected Service Academy Cadets/Midshipmen.
