Test Navigator

The Test Navigator plans, conducts, directs and reports on flight test programs associated with the design, development and modification of aircraft, aerospace vehicles, flight simulators and related systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Test Navigator plans and conducts flight test programs, formulating test procedures to evaluate structural integrity, performance, handling characteristics, reliability and suitability of aircraft and systems. Test Navigators manage research, test and evaluation projects, and also identify design and operational deficiencies, preparing technical reports and recommending design improvements.
